Kavita Mantha started up a marketplace for eco-friendly products in Hyderabad in 2009 and eventually ended up building an organic farm at Shankarpally spread over 20 acres. They have created an ecosystem that has rich soil and high biodiversity. Extensive water harvesting works have been carried out to increase the ground water percolation and also increase of soil moisture. The plant systems are supported by animal systems in a symbiotic way. You may have heard of the book - "The Baby Elephant Diet" - written by Ravi Mantha, Kavita's husband. Fruits delivered will be in semi-ripe to ready to eat stage. The fruit turns soft and slight yellowish when ripe - you can press gently to judge ripeness. When ripe you can store them in the fridge.
