MSFF is an all organic fruit farm located in Bellare of Sullia Taluk in Dakshina Kannada. Some of the fruits grown here are rambutan, mangosteen, avocado, papaya, banana, longan and some more fruits for collection. Along with these, we also grow rice, turmeric, pepper, coconut, arecanut, vegetables round the year. The inputs used for the farm are cowshed manure, Jeevamritha, oil cakes, charred soil, wood ash, WDC. Pest control is left to be handled by the plants naturally and under severe conditions we do use wood ash, neem oil, fermented coconut water, cow urine. Chethan Shetty, general farmer in MSFF is a mechanical engineer with industrial sales background, had worked for a German firm for 7 years in Bangalore.
