Nalvayal Organic Farm is run by Vadivelu. He was working in logistics after a masters in marketing - and when his father fell sick, he switched over to farming, so that he could spend more time with his father. During this time, he started attending organic farming seminars and meeting organic farmers . One day, he came to know about Nammalvar, and after attending some of his sessions. Vadivelu decided to pursue farming with full vigour. In 2013, he took a farm for lease near Bhavanisagar and he tried different organic practices to improve the yield. And from 2018 he took another land for lease near Acharappakkam and practising organic farming. He has some interesting achievements during his faming experiments, that he is very proud of - for example, he grafted brinjal with turkey berry
