Organic Parthi is run by T L Pavan Kumar who is Software engineer turned farmer. He believes that the food that goes into everyone's plate should be pure, natural and devoid of chemicals. This inspired him to quit the fat paying job, turn towards organic farming and processing of agricultural produce. Pavan grows Mango, Chicoo, Jamoon and Goose Berry along with medicinal crops like Ashwaganda, Sarpaghanda, Tulasi, Stevia. His interests lies in reviving the local crops and has been growing traditional variety of paddy which includes Mysore Mallige, Jammu Tawi. His farm is close to the Holy city of Puttaparthi which is the abode of Sri Sathya Sai Baba in Anantapur district, Andhra Pradesh. He has inspired many software engineers into weekend farmers.
