Group of 4 friends - Anand, Raghu, Rohit, Vijay started Panchavati Natural Farm situated in a valley in the Meagiris, near the Cauvery, Panchavati natural farm aims to grow sustainable, healthy, locally relevant food. We have started growing local, seasonal plants such as groundnut, ragi, horse gram, and sesame. We have also started a 5-layer orchard. There are also 3 old tamarind trees, yielding a locally recognized variety called "Urigam".
