Sacred Sattva is a slow living and natural food movement started by a family of passionate urban farmers from Yapral, Secunderabad. These mangoes from their orchard 55 KMs of Hyderabad are a restult of painstalkingly hand picking heirloom varieties of saplings from all over India; watching them grow many years and caring for them as a family with love, sunshine, rainwater and nothing else. The fallen leaves are composted at the farm itself and used as manure. For an added boost, they are treated to natural fertilizers like Jeevamrutham. And oh, lilting music and laughter too, sometimes :) The trees are allowed to flower and fruit in their own sweet time, and the mangoes are left to mature in the sun for as long as it takes to sweeten them, before they are hand plucked, and carefully
