A Film editor and now a full time farmer since 4 years Shivanand Joteppa grows Manikchaman grapes in 3 acres in Jamkhandi of Bagalkot district. Another 3 acres is dedicated to rainfed pulses and grains like Toor dal and Javegodhi. He was inspired to take up natural farming by Shri Kaad Siddeshwara Swamiji of Kaneri Mutt. He follows organic farming methods suggested by both Subhash Palekar and late Shri Narayana Reddy. He has three native cows which supply all the agricultural inputs of the farm.
