About Tagore Farms

: What was originally bought over 30 years ago as barren rocky land that no one believed could grow anything, was turned into a lush green farmland of 15 acres by my Mr. Tagore and his wife. The flavour in our produce and the constant presence of small wildlife both prove the health of our farm. Mango trees were the first residents here, followed by Chikoo, Coconut, Arecanut and Silver trees. Later occupants were Banana, Guava, Lemon and Custard Apple trees. The youngsters who have joined us recently are Lemon, Pomegranate and Avocado saplings. Apart from these permanent residents we have our seasonal vegetables growing like Radish, Sweet corn, Babycorn, Tomatoes, Brinjals and Zucchini. This list is ever expanding as we try our hands at various new and exotic fruits and vegetables.
