- Mathruka is more than a dairy, its a conservation center for desi breeds of cows which focuses on maintaining the purity of the desi cow gene pool. The have many varieties of desi cows that have been carefully and scientifically bred from a conservation standpoint.

- The cows live a natural life. Unlike traditional dairies where cows are grass fed in the dairy itself, Mathruka allows the cows to roam freely in the forests eating wild plants and herbs. This helps build their immunity and keeps them healthy.

- Ethical dairy practices. Mathruka takes many steps to ensure that the cows are milked ethically. They only milk the cow once the milk has been fed to the calfs. This means that the output of milk is low but it does not put any strain on the animal.
