About This Scheme
The National Mission on Natural Farming (NMNF) was launched on November 25, 2024 as a standalone centrally-sponsored scheme. It promotes chemical-free farming using local livestock and traditional methods.

Key Targets (2 years):
• 15,000 Gram Panchayat clusters
• 1 crore farmers awareness
• 7.5 lakh hectares coverage
• 2,000 Model Demonstration Farms
• 10,000 Bio-input Resource Centres (BRCs)
• 30,000 Krishi Sakhis for farmer support

Natural farming emphasizes on-farm biomass recycling, cow dung-urine formulations (Jeevamrit, Beejamrit), and exclusion of synthetic chemical inputs.
Eligibility Criteria
  • Farmers willing to adopt natural farming practices
  • Access to indigenous cow/livestock preferred
  • Willingness to participate in cluster-based approach
  • No synthetic chemical input usage

2. Express interest in joining a natural farming cluster

4. Register with the local Gram Panchayat cluster
