About This Scheme
Bihar Jaivik Corridor Scheme was launched in 2020 to promote organic farming along the Ganga riverbank, benefiting both farmers and river ecosystem.

Coverage: 13 districts including Patna, Bhagalpur, Bhojpur, Munger

Scale:
• 20,000+ farmers
• 20,000+ acres
• Extended to 2025 after initial success

Financial Support:
• Year 1: ₹11,500/acre
• Year 2: ₹6,500/acre
• Year 3: ₹6,500/acre
• Total: ₹24,500/acre over 3 years

  • Available in: Bihar
  • Farmers in 13 Ganga riverbank districts
  • Willingness to adopt organic farming
  • Cluster-based participation
