About This Scheme

Himachal Pradesh launched this scheme in 2018-19 to promote sustainable, non-chemical natural farming using Zero Budget Natural Farming (ZBNF) practices.

Coverage:
• 1.65 lakh+ farmers adopted natural farming
• 19,915 hectares under natural farming
• 99.3% panchayats covered

Subsidies Available:
• Cattle shed lining: Max ₹8,000
• Storage drums: ₹750/drum (up to 3 = ₹2,250)
• Desi cow purchase: 50% up to ₹25,000 + ₹5,000 transport
• Input formulation: ₹10,000 one-time per family
• POP shops: ₹50,000 one-time over 3 years
• Pest control: 75% assistance

Willingness to adopt natural farming
Indigenous cow ownership preferred
