We are looking for people who are:

Location: Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad
Field Officers call the shots in our farmer partnerships and handle multiple responsibilities:
a. expanding Farmizen’s partner network by on-boarding new farmers, organizing community outreach programs to introduce the Farmizen model to farmers.
b. co-ordinating with farm supervisors, farmers, agronomists, customer success team and delivery fleet to meet SLA of day to day operations.
c. ensuring farmer success via training on production techniques and usage of the Farmizen partner app, and identifying interventions necessary.
d. undertaking field visits to various partner farms to identify opportunities of improvement
e. document KPIs for farm operations
f. build relationships with irrigation providers and input suppliers.
Candidate must be able to communicate in at least one local language in addition to English. Should be open to travelling to rural areas with Bangalore as a home base, and stay near specific cluster locations when continued presence is required at one area for a few weeks at a time.
Location: Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad
Agronomists deliver farmer extension services and help with creating/innovating on irrigation, fertigation and pest control schedules. This role is also responsible for field visits to farmers in order to advise them on production techniques, and also for information flow back to central team with inputs on rules/schedules/information for incorporation into the Farmizen recommendation engine. The candidate must be a trained agronomist with deep expertise in organic and natural farming techniques.

Want to learn about farming and prepare yourself for a career in farming, or want to explore becoming a farmer yourself ? If you have a few weeks to put to good use, either as a fresh graduate or while taking a mid-career break, please get in touch with us for short-term (2-3 weeks) and longer term farm internships (3 months). Currently we are recruiting farm interns for only Bangalore and its outskirts. This is a full-time unpaid internship.
CUSTOMER SUCCESS OFFICER
You will work as a member of a small customer success team and will work with customers to a) proactively identify issues with their farmizen subscription and resolve them b) answer any customer queries on in-app chat c) identify and monitor churn risks and identify churn mitigation strategies d) interact with field officers to facilitate flow of information from customer to field and vice versa. Knowing at least one of Kannada/Tamil/Telugu in addition to fluent written and verbal skills in English is desirable.
This is a 3-6 month long internship – you will be given charge of one of our exploratory projects in UAV, sensors, data analytics, image processing and machine learning OR tasked with building out a major feature in our roadmap – on either our consumer app or our intelligent farm management software. CONTENT MARKETEER & STORY-TELLER
Can you weave beautiful content pieces to engage existing customers and acquire new customers ? Adept at blogging and social media, and perhaps a bit of expertise in graphic design tools, the ideal candidate must bring a fresh perspective to our current content marketing efforts. The candidate must be well versed with differences in approach while leveraging different channels – and must be able to tweak approach for content generation for each of the channels.
