Bloodshot eyes

Take 2 ripe tomatoes after waking up in the morning and wash them thoroughly in running water. Cut the tomatoes in slices and sprinkle some black pepper and black salt on them. Eat them on an empty stomach before breakfast.

This will take care of your bloodhshot eyes.

Anaemia

If you suffer from anaemia, drinking a glass of tomato and apple juice should help.

Constipation

If you are suffering from constipation, then eat a fresh tomato in the morning that’s sprinkled with a little salt. Within an hour or two, you will have a bowel movement!

Dark Circles

To get rid of troublesome dark circles make your own homemade paste that requires a teaspoon of tomato juice, a pinch of gram flour, turmeric powder and half a teaspoon of lemon juice. Mix all the ingredients together, smear the paste under your eyes and let it remain there for 10 minutes.

Eye Infection

Eating tomatoes can help you avert eye problems.

Morning Sickness

Having fresh tomato juice with a pinch of salt early morning can cure morning sickness.

Sunburn

Turns out that these red gems help protect your skin from sun damage. In one study, volunteers who ate 5 tablespoons of lycopene-rich tomato paste daily for 3 months enjoyed 25 percent more natural protection against sunburn. Apply tomato slices that have been soaked in buttermilk on skin affected by sunburn to get some relief.

Wounds, Sores and Acne.

For acne – Mix equal quantities of tomato juice and cucumber juice. Use a cotton ball to apply the mix to the skin. Leave for 5 minutes or until dry.

Rinse with warm water and pat dry. Apply thrice a day for one week to prevent acne and breakouts.

Then repeat once a day.

For sores and wounds – Applying a slice of tomato on a wound, burns or sore will soothe and heal your wound if used regularly for 2 to 3 days.
