Ginger Turmeric Drink – Jamu Juice

This fantastic recipe is a take on an Indonesian classic. Made with fresh ginger and turmeric, this drink packs a nutritional punch and helps boost immunity.



  • Fresh Turmeric – 125 grams
  • Fresh Ginger – 20 grams
  • Black Pepper – a pinch
  • Lemon – 2 tablespoons
  • Honey – 2 tablespoons (or other sweetener)
  • Water – 4 cups


  1. Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend till the ginger and turmeric is mostly disintegrated.
  2. Strain out the juice and serve over ice.
